Jukebox Radio is for all of us who grew up in the UK when radio was King and when we listened to almost every word and note from it all day long. Mum had it on in the kitchen in the morning, it played non-stop at work, we put it on in our bedrooms as we did our homework and we tried to tape the Top 40 from it on a Sunday evening. We grew up with it and grew old with it. DJs actually entertained us and we all had our favourites, the roadshows made us wish we were there, the pirates had our undying admiration, the comedy shows made us laugh, and the comedies and dramas played with our imaginations. We could phone up the station, and even the national broadcasters seemed local to us. Our music is uninterrupted, and we have tens of thousands of tracks so you wont keep hearing the same rotated playlists that other stations play. You can enjoy classic comedy shows from yesteryear, including; Steptoe and Son, Dads Army, The Random Jotting of Hinge and Bracket, Yes Minister, Hancocks Half Hour, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise Show, The Grumbleweeds, Benny Hill, The Ken Dodd Show, Ayres on the Air, and much much more. With Jukebox radio you get the added bonus of choosing the music yourself for most of the day as well as overnight, and it gets played as soon as we can fit it in. Unlike some stations that ask you to email in your requests, and it gets played (or ignored) whenever they feel like it, Jukebox Radio instantly places every request into a queue and it gets played during The Request Show in the order that they came in. Just like a giant jukebox. You can request a song at any time during the day, to be played during The Request Show, by using the Jukebox Icon request feature in the app, or by using the Request Page or the Request Here popup at the top-right of every page (bottom of the screen on phones and tablets) on our website at www.jukeboxradio.live Go on.... give it a go!
